Based on a photo of A P. F. Chapman, a famous cricketer who played for Cambridge University, Kent and England in the 1930's. Made in Super Sculpey and given a bronze finish..

This piece was inspired by a dream I had in which an African woman was carrying a bucket of water. It was made in paper clay over an armature, and after baking in a kiln it was bronzed.
